Miranda has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate family conflicts at all stages of life because she knows firsthand how family conflicts can turn into costly and painful litigation. When her grandmother passed away unexpectedly, her family ended up embroiled in estate litigation that cost her family thousands of dollars. The case was further complicated when her family had to plan for guardianship and long-term care of a mentally disabled family member. This experience gives her a powerful understanding of how proper planning can save families from painful litigation.
When litigation must happen, Miranda is not afraid to help her clients in the courtroom. She is a graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and has been named Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Miranda is also a member of the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
