Judith M. Daly

Biography

RetiredJudith M. Daly

Judith Daly’s professional practice focuses on helping individuals in their role as the executor of a family member’s estate, on helping individuals protect their elderly relatives personally and financially through guardianship, and on helping individuals with decisions regarding asset protection and distribution of their assets through an estate plan such as will and/or a trust.

Her experience in these areas extends beyond the simple drafting and filing of documents.  She appears and files lawsuits in Superior Court to defend will caveats (contests) and files lawsuits to obtain the return of property taken from an elderly person by an unscrupulous relative.  She also appears in front of the Clerk of Court on contested guardianship matters.

Judith has over 14 years of experience in taking assignments from the Clerk of Court to qualify as a Guardian of the Estate of an incompetent, as a Trustee for a decedent’s estate, or as an administrator of a decedent’s estate.  These appointments usually come about due to a person not being able to meet the qualifications necessary to serve, or due to a person being removed for failing to file the proper accountings. She understands what it means to be a fiduciary for a person, and she gets great satisfaction in being this advocate for people who have no voice, whether they be incompetent or decedent.
